Gombe State Police don arrest 25 people wey dem suspect say get hand for di violent attack wey happen to one senior police officer, CSP Adamu Alhaji-Idi, wey be DPO for Kwadon Division.
Dem talk say na some bad boys wey people sabi as Kalare na im beat di officer on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, as im dey do him work for Kwadon town.
According to wetin the police spokesperson, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, yarn on Wednesday, di officer get serious injury and dem rush am go Federal Teaching Hospital for Gombe, where im dey receive treatment now.
“Gombe State Police Command strongly condemn this kain wicked attack wey dem do to our DPO, and we wan let public know say we dey work hard to catch everybody wey get hand for di matter,” di statement talk.
"On 20th May 2025 around 9am, the Officer-in-Charge of Operation Hattara get emergency call from Deputy Commissioner of Police for Gombe State Operations say dem don beat CSP Adamu Alhaji Idi well-well.
"Na di Kalare boys attack am for Kwadon and di officer come get plenty injury, including one serious cut for him forehead.
Dem quickly rush am go Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe for urgent treatment and dem still dey treat am now.
As e happen, patrol team from Operation Hattara wey CSP Ali Madaki lead, rush go di place with other officers.
After correct police work, dem arrest 25 suspects wey all be people from Kwadon town wey dem believe say get hand for di matter. Di suspects na:

All di suspects dey for police custody now as dem dey undergo investigation. Once dem finish di investigation, dem go carry dem go court.
