Jennifer Lopez, wey be actress and singer, dey face lawsuit for $300,000 because dem say she post some copyrighted photos from 2025 Golden Globe Awards for her social media without permission.
For January 5, Jennifer Lopez waka enter red carpet wear white gown wey full ground and fake fur coat. Later, she share five photos from the event with caption “GG Weekend Glamour,” and the photos quick spread for fan pages and media.
Photographer Edwin Blanco and him agency, Backgrid, don sue Lopez for copyright infringement because she post two of their photos without permission. Dem dey ask for $150,000 per photo as damage money.
The lawsuit talk say Lopez use the photos to promote her own brand, tag her cloth and jewellery designers and push her fashion partnerships.
“Ms Lopez no get permission to use the photos and she use am for commercial purpose,” the complaint talk, say she use the photos to promote herself.
E also talk say her team don agree for license before but Lopez never finish the deal. This no be the first time Jennifer Lopez dey face legal wahala for photo rights. She don dey sued before for 2019 and 2020 for posting professional photos without permission.
