Police tokman, SP Wasiu Abiodun, yarn say di guy dey part of one group wey dey sell fake currency give people wey no know, especially Hajj pilgrims.
“On di 18th of May, 2025, around 11:45 in di morning, we receive correct info say one group wey dey sell fake money dey operate for Hajj Camp for Tudun-Fulani, Bosso area of Minna. One of their members dey that place,” na so di statement take talk.
“Police people from Bosso Division rush go di area come arrest Nda Baba Mohammed, 27 years, from Agaie LGA. Dem find 40,000 Francs CFA wey dem suspect say na fake for him hand.”
“During investigation, di guy confess say na from one man house for Kwara State he thief di fake money, when he go do farm work for di man place.”
“Di suspect dey for police custody and investigation still dey go on to know where di fake money really come from. After everything, dem go carry am go court to face him case.”
