President Bola Tinubu don deny say im government stop di registration of new political parties or say dem wan turn Nigeria to one-party country.
As im dey talk for joint session of di National Assembly for Abuja on Thursday, June 12, to celebrate Democracy Day, President Tinubu talk clear say di Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) never get any order from im government to stop to register political parties.
“I never stop any political party from registering,” na wetin im talk as im try clear di air about di tori wey dey fly up and down for Nigeria politics.
Im still deny say im dey try push Nigeria to become one-party country. But di president still talk say di ruling party – All Progressives Congress (APC) – no go block anybody wey wan join dem. “E go be political bad belle if APC close door for people wey wan join us,” na wetin im add.
As im welcome new members from Delta and Akwa Ibom States into APC, Tinubu talk say, “Una all dey welcome to di progressive side.”
As im send one kind strong message to di opposition, Tinubu talk say im no get plans to help political parties wey dey fight inside themselves. “E dey sweet me to see una party houses scatter,” na so im yarn
