President Tinubu bin first send four tax reform bills go National Assembly in 2024 make dem look am. Di bills wey wan change how tax dey work for Nigeria cause plenty debate inside Senate and House of Reps before dem finally pass am. Both chambers come agree on one final version of di bills on May 25, 2025, before dem now carry am go presidency.
Senator Adaramodu talk say, “Yes, di bill don already move from our hand. E dey go presidency side now.”
E still talk say di reason wey e delay small na because dem need check am well well make sure say everything balance with di law. “Tax bill no be small thing. Di legal department for both Senate and House suppose make sure say e no break any law before we send am,” e talk.
Adaramodu still add say, “No be something wey go take two or three days. After both chambers agree on am, na di Clerk of National Assembly go prepare di final copy. Na after that di Senate President and Speaker go fit sign am before e go presidency.”
