Former Super Eagles captain and coach, Sunday Oliseh, don advise striker Victor Osimhen make he move go English Premier League this summer if he wan remain relevant for world football and keep him career moving forward.
As Oliseh dey talk for one interview with Lagos Talks 91.3FM, he say Osimhen na big blessing to Nigerian football, but he still get areas wey he need improve if he wan reach the top level for world football.
“I believe say Osimhen na big asset to Nigerian football,” Oliseh talk. “But like every top player, we all get our own flaws. The important thing na say make we know how to work on them.”
Oliseh also talk say the way clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea dey show interest in Osimhen, na proof say him reputation dey grow. But he stress say Premier League go give am the proper stage to shine and compete at the highest level.
“If he wan remain for spotlight, he gats go Premier League. Nigerians dey expect to see am for there,” Oliseh talk. “But to reach that big level, he need change plenty things for him game.”
Osimhen, wey just finish another strong season with Napoli, still dey hot on the radar of many European clubs. But this next move go very important, especially as Nigeria dey plan to build strong team ahead of 2025 AFCON and 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
