20 suspects don jam arrest over 2025 UTME result hacking
At least 20 people don enter DSS and Nigerian Police net as dem arrest dem for hacking of the 2025 computer-based test (CBT) wey JAMB organise.
The suspects na part of one big gang wey dem believe say get over 100 people wey sabi how to hack the computer servers of exam bodies like JAMB and NECO.
According to security people, the suspects don confess say na dem spoil the CBT system so that dem go fit make JAMB look bad and make students fear to use CBT for future exams like NECO and WAEC.
One of the suspects talk say: “The gang go first install one software wey go attack the exam body computer system. From there, the software go dey hack JAMB server from any CBT centre wey dem target.”
Dem do all this wahala just to give high scores to special candidates wey pay between ₦700,000 and ₦2 million.
The report still talk say early investigation show say plenty of the gang members get private schools and colleges, and dem dey collect plenty money from special centres wey dem run.
