Lagos State Police Command don arrest two main suspects wey dem believe cause the serious m8rder of one young woman for Gangare area, Mile 12.
The pikin, wey come from Nasarawa State, dem k!ll am and burn her body for May 24, 2025.
CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, wey be police spokesperson, talk say the woman ex-boyfriend join hand with the suspects to k!ll her after he try force am make she comot for the relationship but no work.
The police talk say all the wahala and wrong tori wey dey about the m8rder no true.
“The Lagos State Police Command don catch two main suspects wey join hand for this bad act where one young woman wey come from Nasarawa State (name no wan talk) get m8rder for cold blood and her body burn for May 24, 2025 for slum wey dem dey call Gangare near canal behind Mile 12 Market, Lagos State,” the statement talk.
“The story wey dey go round about the m8rder no correct, we find out say the woman dey stay for the slum with her northern family members and we no sabi her exact work till now.
“From our first investigation, we see say she really from Nasarawa State, no be Yoruba woman. The wahala wey dey between her and her boyfriend wey still dey run, cause all this yawa. The boyfriend try force am to come back to the relationship after dem break, so he join hand with other suspects, two of dem dem don catch for police, to gather am, attack am, kill am and burn her body.
“This m8rder na planned crime, no be mistake, and everybody suppose condemn am. The woman no do any blasphemy before dem kill am.
“Lagos State Police Command act fast to catch the two main suspects, and investigation still dey go on to find the boyfriend and other people wey still run.
“Two suspects wey get direct connection to the case dey custody for State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) and dem dey help police find the other bad people wey join the m8rder.
“The police dey assure the public say peace don return fully to the slum and other places for Mile 12.
“No tension or fight between any tribe for Ketu Mile 12 or anywhere for Lagos. Make Lagos people no fear, and continue to do their normal business well well.
“While we dey wait for the final result of the investigation wey go come out for public, everybody make dem calm down and no dey spread fake tori wey fit cause wahala.
“The Lagos State Police Command still dey committed to protect everybody and dem go keep giving updates as investigation dey go.”
