Kidnappers wey carry three members of Deeper Life Bible Church for Akure North Local Government Area, Ondo State, don ask say make dem pay N15 million before dem go release the people.
Dem kidnap the church members on Monday evening, May 26, as dem dey return from Bible Study for Kasemola area inside Ogbese community.
One person from the family yarn say the kidnappers don open talk with the family and the church leadership.
The source talk say: “Yes, dem don call us and dem dey ask for N5 million each person. We dey try gather money from people wey wish us well and church members to fit pay the ransom.”
Meanwhile, the church leaders don organize prayer warriors to dey pray make dem release the kidnapped people.
One church member confirm say: “We don report the matter give police and Amotekun people for the state.”
Police spokesperson for Ondo State, Ayanlade Olayinka, confirm say the kidnap really happen.
Ayanlade talk say police detectives don dey comb the forest to find and rescue the victims.
Him talk say: “I fit confirm say kidnapping happen, but I no fit talk the exact number of people wey dem carry for now.”
He still add say police dey work hard to catch the kidnappers and make sure the matter calm down.
