Former Togo international, Emmanuel Adebayor, don talk again say Nigerian football legend, Kanu Nwankwo, still be him idol and the “god of football” for him eyes.
Adebayor, wey play for Arsenal between 2006 and 2009, wear jersey number 25, and use the same locker wey Kanu use before. He say that experience na one of the big moments for him football career.
The former striker, wey also play for big clubs like Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Tottenham Hotspur, score 32 goals in 87 matches for the Togo national team before he retire.
As he dey talk with Brila FM, Adebayor sharply shut down any talk of comparison between him and Kanu.
“Abeg una, Kanu Nwankwo na my idol and my god of football. So make nobody dey compare me with am. I thank una for understanding,” he talk.
