President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don mock politicians wey dey plan to form political coalition to stop am from winning second term for 2027.
As he dey commission some projects for Nasarawa State, Tinubu call the people wey dey plan the coalition “political IDPs” — meaning political internally displaced persons.
As e dey talk about the alleged opposition alliance wey include former Kaduna governor, Nasir El-Rufai, and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Tinubu describe the move as childish and foolish political play.
“People wey start early politics with coalition for destruction, no mind them. Dem be political IDPs. No give them house. Na here hope dey,” Tinubu talk.
He still talk say he no go keep quiet while people dey plan to pull him down.
“I no ready for the kind thing wey dem dey plan. Early campaign? Which politician go keep quiet when people dey form gang to push am out?”
Tinubu insist say him government don make progress, even though the country still dey face economic wahala.
“We don cut waste. I no go talk too much about the economic challenge we dey face now, but hope dey. From now, una no go get any regret,” he add.
