A man identified as Gbolahan has approached an Oyo State customary court seeking the dissolution of his marriage, accusing his wife, Sarah, of infidelity, violent behavior, and making threats against his life.

According to the petitioner, the marriage became troubled after his wife allegedly discovered that he had been involved in relationships with two women from his church. He claimed that instead of resolving their differences peacefully, Sarah reacted aggressively and allegedly threatened him with a knife.

Gbolahan further told the court that his wife had also been unfaithful during the marriage, insisting that the relationship had broken down beyond repair. He argued that constant conflicts and the alleged threats had made it impossible for them to continue living together as husband and wife.
