The police spokesperson for Jigawa State Command, SP Shiisu Lawan Adam, wey confirm the tori, talk say dem find the dead body of one unknown man under one slab wey get armored cable wire on top Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
“Today, Wednesday May 14, 2025, around 10:00am, Jigawa State Police Command receive urgent call from Ministry of Works about one sad incident wey happen for the new Secretariat Complex for Dutse,” the statement talk.
“One team of police officers wey DPO for Dutse Division lead, rush go the place.
“When dem reach the scene, dem see the dead body of one unknown man under one slab wey get armored cable wire.
“Early investigation show say the man chop electric shock as e dey try vandalize armored electrical cable wey dey connect to high-voltage light.
“The man body don even begin decay before dem carry am go Dutse General Hospital for medical check.
“This matter don show the serious danger wey dey follow people wey dey try spoil public property, especially electric installation.
“The Command condemn this kain act well well and warn people make dem no try this kind dangerous and illegal waka.
“Jigawa State Police Command still dey stand gidigba to protect government property and make sure say life and infrastructure dey safe for the whole state. We dey beg residents make dem open eye and report any suspicious person or movement to the nearest police station.
“As the investigation dey go on, the Command go still give more update.”
