PSG Open Talks to Sign Ivory Coast Sensation Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Yan Diomande, with negotiations underway with RB Leipzig over a potential summer transfer.

The 19-year-old winger has emerged as one of the biggest breakout stars of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after an impressive debut season in the Bundesliga. His pace, dribbling ability, and attacking flair have attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Liverpool, but PSG are now considered the frontrunners to secure his signature.

Reports indicate that Diomande has already reached a verbal agreement on personal terms with the French champions, with a proposed five-year contract on the table. The remaining hurdle is an agreement between PSG and Leipzig over the transfer fee.

Leipzig are in a strong negotiating position because Diomande remains under contract until 2030. The German club are reportedly demanding a substantial fee after the youngster scored 12 Bundesliga goals and provided eight assists during the 2025/26 season, while also impressing for Ivory Coast at the World Cup.

If the deal is completed, Diomande would become one of PSG’s marquee signings of the summer as the club continues to strengthen its squad with some of Europe’s brightest young talents.
