Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, don deny say e get any personal wahala with the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, as he talk say the governor still be him “pikin.”

Wike yarn this one for interview wey BBC Pidgin publish, as people dey talk say the two wey before be political padi don get gbege.

“No be fight be that one,” Wike talk. “Na my boy, na my pikin. Why I go fight am?”

As he explain more, Wike talk say the fight no really dey between him and Fubara directly, but na with people wey dey use the governor for their own selfish gain. “Na people wey wan chop wetin dem no work for I dey fight,” he talk. “If you no defeat dem, dem go dey feel say na dem dey control things. Defeat dem finish. Now, dem don shame because dem dey lose. Na dem dey push Fubara.”

The former Rivers State governor still talk for media session with some journalists for Abuja on Monday, where he reveal say Governor Fubara don start to find way for reconciliation, after President Bola Tinubu don beg for peace many times.

“The President don beg for peace many times and I no fit sit down say I no want peace,” Wike talk. “Yes, he (Fubara) come with two governors and one elder. But the two governors na APC governors. I no go pursue am. He say he want peace. No wahala. Me too I want peace.”

Wike talk all this one as political tension dey rise for Rivers State because of Fubara suspension and the serious power struggle wey dey happen between big politicians for the state.
