Operatives from Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of di Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) don arrest 120 people wey dem suspect say na internet fraudsters. Di people include 95 men and 25 women wey dem catch for different places inside Lagos.
For statement wey dem release today, May 19, EFCC talk say dem arrest di suspects on Monday, May 19, 2025, based on correct informate and serious monitoring wey show say dem dey involved for internet fraud.
During di operation, EFCC recover 26 exotic cars, plenty expensive jewellery, smartphones, laptops and many documents wey show say dem fit dey do illegal things.
Di agency talk say dem still dey investigate di matter and as dem finish, dem go carry di suspects go court.
