Dis him visit come shortly after one serious attack for Yelwata community last Friday, where dem say suspected herdsmen enter the place and kill plenty people.
Na the latest attack be this for the recent killings wey dey worry Benue. The state, wey be one major place for food production for North Central Nigeria, don suffer plenty wahala between farmers and herders for long time now.
Egbetokun come Benue after President Bola Tinubu give fresh order on Sunday say security chiefs must take sharp and strong action to bring peace back to the area.
President Tinubu talk say:
“This news of killings wey just dey happen anyhow for Benue State dey very sad. We no fit continue to allow this bloodshed. E don do!
I don give order to security people say make dem act fast and arrest anybody wey get hand for these evil acts, no matter the side wey dem dey, and carry them go court.”
