Soldiers wey dey work under 3 Division and Operation Safe Haven don catch one man wey dem suspect say be bandit, as him dey wear soldier camouflage uniform for Kaduna State, and dem also recover plenty weapons for Plateau State.
According to wetin security sources tell Zagazola Makama, the incident happen on June 15, 2025, for Katsit community inside Zangon Kataf Local Government for Kaduna.
The suspect wear full military camouflage and dem say him dey pretend like soldier so he fit dey rob innocent people.
Wetin soldiers recover from am include:
- One AK-47 rifle
- One AK-47 magazine
- 3 live bullets of 7.62mm Special
- 7 empty shell of the same bullet
- One fake vigilante ID card
- One phone
- Two ATM cards
The suspect dey under custody now as dem dey do further investigation.
Still on top the matter, on June 16, soldiers raid one place wey dem suspect say na gunrunning hideout for Kwanar Lauje area of Bassa LGA for Plateau State.
As soldiers reach there, the suspects don run comot, but when dem search the place, dem see plenty weapons:
- One AK-47 rifle
- One AK-47 magazine
- One AK-47 rifle butt
- 300 rounds of 7.62mm Special bullet
- One round of 9mm
- Two rounds of 12.7mm
- One abandoned motorcycle
All the weapons and items wey dem recover dey for soldier custody now, and follow-up operations still dey go on to catch the people wey run.
