The Oyo State Fire Services Agency don recover the bodies of two passengers after one car fall enter river for Amuloko area of Ibadan.
Dem recover the victims from Ariyo River for Ona Ara Local Government Area on Friday, May 29, after officials of the agency carry out rescue operation.
According to reports, the motor, wey be Toyota Avensis, lose control before e comot from road and fall enter the river.
As e dey confirm the incident on Saturday, May 30, Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Services Agency, Maroof Akinwande, talk say dem receive emergency call and immediately send rescue team go the scene.
According to am, when firefighters reach there, dem see say the vehicle don sink completely inside the river, and dem quickly begin rescue operation.
“Wetin we see when we reach be say the vehicle don leave road enter river and sink completely. Our rescue team immediately start operation, use all necessary rescue methods, and successfully bring out two dead bodies from inside the vehicle,” Akinwande talk.
E add say after the operation, dem hand over the bodies to officers of the Nigeria Police Force from Ogbere Divisional Police Headquarters for further action.
“The victims’ bodies were handed over to officers of the Nigeria Police Force led by ASP Adesuwa Sesan from Ogbere Target Police Station, Ibadan, make dem carry out the necessary next steps,” he add.
