A 24-year-old man has been arrested in Valencia, Spain, after allegedly killing his two-year-old son’s speech therapist following a disturbing incident at the therapist’s office.
According to reports, the father became alarmed after returning to the therapist’s office and finding his toddler partially undressed. The child was reportedly without a diaper and had his trousers lowered when the father entered the room.
Authorities say the father confronted the 32-year-old therapist and demanded an explanation for the situation. The confrontation reportedly escalated when the therapist refused to show security camera footage from the clinic.
Witnesses claimed the father threatened the therapist during the argument before allegedly attacking him with a knife. The victim suffered a fatal neck wound and was later found dead at the clinic.
Following the incident, the suspect reportedly took his son home before voluntarily presenting himself at a police station in Burjassot, where he allegedly confessed to the killing.
Police officers who responded to the scene discovered the therapist lying in a pool of blood. Forensic investigators later sealed off the area as they began examining the circumstances surrounding the case.
